Elevate your diving experience and extend your bottom time with the PADI Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox) course.
Nitrox, a gas blend with a higher oxygen content than regular air, allows for longer no-decompression dive times, giving you the opportunity to explore the underwater world with increased safety and comfort.
COURSE OVERVIEW:
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is designed to teach you the benefits, considerations, and safe practices of diving with enriched air nitrox.
By learning to analyze and use nitrox blends, you'll be able to plan and execute longer dives while managing the potential risks associated with increased oxygen levels.
STEP 1 - KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT:
Explore the principles of nitrox diving, including its benefits, the effects of different gas mixtures on your body, how to analyze nitrox tanks, and the planning considerations for using enriched air during your dives.
STEP 2 - OPEN WATER DIVES:
Under the guidance of a certified PADI Instructor, you'll learn how to analyze nitrox tank contents and use enriched air for recreational diving.
You'll conduct at least two enriched air dives, applying what you've learned while enjoying the extended bottom time that nitrox provides.

This certification permits you to dive with enriched air blends containing 22 to 40 percent oxygen.
PREREQUISITES:
To enroll in the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) Diver Course, you must be:
Minimum age: 12 years old
PADI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent certification from another recognized training organization)
