If you look in an Indian Ocean Reef Guidebook, we estimate you will find 80% here in Phi Phi Island, From Sharks, Rays and Turtles to Ghost Pipe Fish, Beautiful Nudibranch’s, Shrimps not to mention huge Schools of Snappers, Barracudas and Fusiliers. Last week we even had Minke Whales and Whalesharks!
Visibility Is often 15 metres plus, sometimes 30 metres and we don’t have any very strong currents at all. Most of the diving here is on beautiful healthy coral reefs and we also have a fantastic Wreck, which has SOOO much life on it, sometimes you have to squint through the fish to see the Wreck!
Phi Phi Island itself has a wonderful vibe, it’s all walking streets with no scooters or cars and has some wonderful restaurants, both local and international. Yes, there’s the Party scene on the back side of the island, with beach bars and fire shows, but Phi Phi has so so much more to offer as well, from Long Tail Trips around Phi Ley Lagoon and the famous Maya Bay to Jungle Walks, Viewpoints and much more!
